Template Status:
N/A: not available yet
Alpha: template exists but it has not been extensively tested
RC (Release Candidate): extensively tested template exists but it has not been deployed in many scenarios yet
Stable: template has been tested and used for a long time now
* Advanced protocols: lldp, cdp, vlan, syslog, ntp, etc., depending on device
(work in progress)
All settings can be defined at different "levels" (or scope) via ResellerApp in Provision category:
host level: default settings (only accessible by admins: virtual machines -> default settings button -> category: provision)
domain/tenant level: domain settings (select domain -> domain settings -> manage PBX domain settings -> category: provision)
single device level: device settings (select domain -> devices -> select device -> settings)
One setting with a larger scope will be overridden by the one with a narrower scope.
enabled
Turn on devices' provisioning for the scope.
provision_polling_enabled
provision_polling_time
If provision_polling_enabled is set to true, devices will be polling daily the provisioning server to download their configuration, starting at the time specified by provision_polling_time (format: 24h, i.e. 03:00 for 3am).
If provision_polling_enabled is set to false, devices won't be polling the provisioning server.
If provision_polling_enabled is set to auto (or not set), devices will be polling the provisioning server only if they do not support the remote-initiated reboot/autoprovisioning procedure, starting at the time specified by provision_polling_time (format: 24h, i.e. 03:00 for 3am).
Please note that not all devices will support a specific provision_polling_time. For those devices this setting will be ignored and polling for configuration will happen every 24 hours.
provisioning_url
outbound_proxy_primary
outbound_proxy_secondary (not used yet)
server_address
Usually set up automatically at domain level by initialization procedure.
No need to modify these.
admin_name
admin_password
Administrator login credentials (username and password) for device web interface, if not defined admin_name is left as default for the device model and admin_password is template_type-dependent.
Please note that not all devices allow redefinition of admin_name.
user_name
user_password
Unprivileged login credentials (username and password) for device web interface, if not defined user_name is left as default for the device model and user_password is template_type-dependent.
Please note that not all devices allow login of an unprivileged user.
Please note that not all devices allow redefinition of user_name.
http_auth_username
http_auth_password
Credentials used by the device to download provisioning files. Authentication algo used is http basic authentication.
Of course they need to be configured on the device first.
prack_enabled
rport_enabled
cdp_enabled
lldp_enabled
Boolean settings (allowed values: true or false) that force the device feature on or off.
Leaving the setting disabled (default) allows the device to use its default|safe|working setting.
Prack: Provisional ACK, see Reliability of Provisional Responses, RFC3262
Rport: Response-Port, often related with NAT trasversal issues, see RFC3581
CDP: Cisco Discovery Protocol, proprietary level 2 discovery protocol
LLDP: Link Layer Discovery Protocol, vendor-neutral level 2 discovery protocol, IEEE 802.1AB
phonebook_enable
Allow the device to download a customized xml phonebook from the server. Needs to be supported by the phone and the server.
template_type
String to activate device customizations.
If not enabled, it defaults to "loquace"
stun_server
stun_port
syslog_server
syslog_port
Other servers used by the configured device.
If the *_server setting is disabled the feature/protocol is disabled (default value).
If the *_port setting is disabled and the feature/protocol is enabled the standard port is used.
Stun: feature related with NAT trasversal issues, it should be left disabled (loquace is good at NAT trasversal issues), RFC8489
Syslog: feature to export device logging to an external server, RFC5424
ntp_server_primary
ntp_server_secondary
NTP servers used by the configured device. If the setting is not enabled, the ntp servers used are template_type-dependent and they may also be the loquace server
dns_server_primary
dns_server_secondary
DNS servers used by the configured device. If the setting is not enabled, the dns servers used will depend on the network scenario and configuration, probably being the ones passed by the dhcp server.
phone_language
Language used for WUI and device screen, default: it_it
Please note that locale support can be limited.
phone_codec_string
Codecs used on the configured device (ordered csv string) default: G722,PCMA,G729
Codecs are identified by the loquace syntax.
vlanid_phone
vlanid_pc
Vlan IDs used for voice and data (pc port).
Implementations and semantics may vary depending on the device vendor.
If these settings are both disabled, VLAN are turned off.
voicemail_number
mwi_subscribe
voicemail_number represent the voicemail number to call for listen to messages and to subscribe to (MWI): it defaults to *97
mwi_subscribe is a boolean setting to enable MWI, it defaults to enabled/true. If false or disabled the device will not send MWI request to the server.
Please for MWI refer to RFC3842.
line_subscribe_expires
Expire time for subscribe request sent by the configured device
daylight_savings_* (to be supported)
Daylight savings definition
alcatel_firmware_sp2502
alcatel_firmware_sp2503
Firmware filename for alcatel phones. If the setting is not enabled, the template uses the latest certified firmware.
alcatel_provision_url
Provision url specific for alcatel phones: it does override provision_url
alcatel_sp2502_wallpaper_url
alcatel_sp2503_wallpaper_url
If enabled they override the template-type dependent definition for wallpaper. These models support only bmp images.
They must be a complete url, i.e. http://server.com/images/wallpaper.bmp
alcatel_raw_provision_snippet
If enabled, the content of this setting will be inserted at the end of configuration file passed to the configured device: it can be used to configure some feature not yet supported by the official template.
Models: t30, t30p, t31, t31g, t31p, t33g, t33p
yealink_firmware_<model>
Firmware filename for yealink phones. If the setting is not enabled, the template uses the latest certified firmware.
yealink_provision_url
Provision url specific for alcatel phones: it does override provision_url
yealink_<model>_wallpaper_url
If enabled they override the template-type dependent definition for wallpaper. These models support *.jpg/*.png/*.bmp/*.jpeg images.
These must be a complete url, i.e. http://server.com/images/wallpaper.bmp
yealink_raw_provision_snippet
If enabled, the content of this setting will be inserted at the end of configuration file passed to the configured device: it can be used to configure some feature not yet supported by the official template.
